The Dubliner chess set represents one of our largest and grandest chess sets. The king stands an impressive 11.94 cm (120 mm) tall and the board measures 60 cm across. The pieces have been expertly crafted from solid rosewood and boxwood and felted on their bases with billiard cloth. Each piece is weighted for perfect balance. The knights in this set are particularly impressive and feature some very intricate carving. The style of the chessmen is a unique design that departs from the traditional Stanton sets.
