These superb Lewis chessmen have been beautifully crafted in the UK, just near the border of Devon and Somerset. Despite their more diminutive size, they are extremely accurate reproductions of the famous Lewis chessmen, with this smaller edition featuring a 7 cm king height - a much more manageable scale. Each piece has been expertly felted on the base to protect your board and represent a really lovely piece of history with the benefit of additional queens for promotion.
Sturdy and substantial, this cabinet features a beautifully rich mahogany-coloured frame, while the playing surface showcases walnut and maple squares framed by a sleek black border, creating a cohesive and elegant design. The satin finish not only adds a touch of elegance but also provides protection during play, making it a striking battlefield for your Isle of Lewis chessmen.
