Pioneer Solid Walnut and Sheesham Chess Set with Case

Pioneer Staunton chess set combining elegant and slim solid Sheesham and Boxwood chess pieces with our luxury European solid Walnut and Maple chess board. The chess pieces are hand made from solid Sheesham wood for the dark colour and graded yellow boxwood for the whites. They are almost 10.16 cm in height and are weighted and balanced. The chess board is hand made in Poland from Walnut and Maple woods sourced from plantations. Each square is a solid wooden section that has been grain matched and put in place. The whole board is finished on a semi-gloss protective lacquer. The board has a striking wedge design border that provides the perfect platform for the raised chequerboard. Included in this set is a hand made solid Rosewood wood chess piece case with a sliding lid. A beautifully matched chess set in terms of colour, tone and grain.
