The company operates several internal policies to ensure ethical and transparent business conduct:

Supplier code of conduct: Requires suppliers to comply with laws and seek similar commitments across their own supply chain.
Staff code of conduct: Commits to fair treatment and establishes a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery.
Procurement policy: Sets out controls to verify potential suppliers' commitment against modern slavery.
Safeguarding policy: Highlights risks, identification of exploitation signs, and reporting procedures.

This statement is a response to the Modern Slavery Act 2015, Section 54(1), and covers the financial year ending 31 March 2023.

The due diligence procedures aim to Identify, Monitor, and Reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking in their business and supply chains.

Risk and Compliance Actions:

Evaluating the slavery and human trafficking risks of each new supplier.
Creating an annual risk profile for key suppliers.

The company requires any supplier that fails to comply with its policies to immediately remedy the non-compliance.

Measuring Effectiveness (KPIs)

The company uses Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness in preventing modern slavery:

Contacting suppliers to enquire about their modern slavery practices every 12 months.
Carrying out a regular audit of 20% of suppliers each year.
